Murphy Halloween Tradition

This year I decided to try to make my great-grandma's vegetable soup with a few additions. I grew up eating this every Halloween and I am planning on keeping this tradition going in our house.

The soup turned out great. I of course had my "dump plate" full of carrots, onions, and cabbage, that I never eat. And of course Mark would have prefered that I just put meat, potatoes and carrots in there. I prefer all the other vegetables so we compromise and both pick out the stuff we don't like.

Grandma thank you so much for your patience and help with my many phone calls on how to make it and your helpful tips.

Biltmore Estate

Before we left Asheville Mark and I went to the Biltmore Estate "America's Largest Home". It took 6 years (1895) to build this home that sits on 125,000 acres, 4 acres of floor space, 250 rooms, 34 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms and 65 fireplaces.

I'm pregnant

On Saturday, August 16th I got my BFP. :-)

Mark was extremely excited but wanted to make sure and told me to take another test on Sunday. Sunday morning I took another test and got another positive result.
